Was looking possibly get this scope for a 300 weatherby I just purchased. I talked to some people that said this was a very good scope and worth twice of the 180.00 price tag. Has anyone used this or has any comments about it?

I mounted a 3-9x42 Triple Duty Sightmark on my daughters 6mm Rem... IT took six shots to zeroed it in at 100 yds and she shot some fantastic groups. It has a ton of features and the mil dot reticle can be used as hold over dots.

A lot of scope for the money... NJS

I have the 8.5-25 x 50mm and it works ok. I think the recoil of the 300 may be throwing it off a little or maybe it is the hot weather vs cold bore shot.

I've used them before and I'm quite impressed. They have great glass and are worth more than you pay for them. My only gripe is that the MilDot reticle isn't accurate. I spoke with Sightmark and they said that they are working to get that to the correct measurments.

I have used the 3-9X42. I think they make a cheaper version of the 3-9X40 but it doesn't have the illuminated reticle. Both are pretty solid units for the price. I've got one on my 17HMR and I love it. The reticle is thin so I can see the smaller targets and the glass is very clear. Plus, Sightmark have a lifetime warranty on them so you really can't go wrong.

Got a couple 3-9x40's, the glass is amazingly clear and in lowlight they outperform many scopes that are many times the price. I'm not sure how long they will take the dialing up and down from 0 to 30moa, but I think they have a lifetime replacement warranty.
