I didn't know that the tacticals were available yet. I think only some of the regular FFP Super Slams were out.

The word I got directly from Weaver that they 'may' be available by Sept and that I would be really pleased with their performance and glass over the old tactical I have.
If true it would really be good.
However, It's brand new and I can't risk being an 'early adopter'. Thus I've gone another more well tested/proven route.

I've got high hopes for them. Same as Roy, I've had some of the old FFP tacticals an love them.
My biggest reservation is that they've been through two owners since then.
Hope the guts are as good as the old tacticals with the new bells and whistles.

Me too, I only had a brochure that said coming soon & did not have all the specs.
I know that Fiftydriver said alot of good things about the old FFP Tacticals.
