Well this morning at 9:00am JUDD, JMason, .280fan, PaHog and myself all met up at the truck stop for a day of woodchuck hunting. The alphalpha was pretty high and set to be cut any day so the viewing for chucks was a little difficult, but we still managed to find a few and reduce the herd by a couple. We passed some time by shooting a steel woodchuck made by PaHog at 956 yards and busted some clay birds at 950, 800, and 745 yards respectively. I believe everyone had a great time and it was nice to put some faces to the names. PaHog put a nice shot on one at 271 yards with his .260, Judd smacked one at 717 yards with his 6mm-.284, and .280 fan made his longest kill every on a chuck at 809 yards with his .308 Win. JMason even had shirts made up for eveyone:D Thanks to everyone for a great time!! Next time I need to wear sunscreen though:rolleyes: Here are a few photos from the hunt.

Congratulations Boys!
I'm sure everyone had a great time, It's always nice to take a day off from the usual grind, and spend time afield with the ones that understand this long range game.

Now; where do I find the order form form my T-shirt??

Joel you was qualified two years ago when I sqeezed the trigger of your Cheytac....the 30-416 this year just put the iceing on the cake

Hey guys, nice pictures, awesome looking rifles, and great kills.
Would love to be in a meeting like that some day!!!
Keep up the good shooting.

You like those shirts you should see the ones he made for the All Star Hunt!:D

The shirts are available for $19.99 if you'd like it personalized that's another $4.99. I think I owe you some$$ so maybe we can work out a deal. My stock for one personalized tee:D. Your choice of color of course.

All those at the "All Star" event will receive them at no charge(since I'm taking this as an invitation).:)

I really had a great time. This was my 1st opportunity to hang out with other long range hunters and play with other people really cool toys. I especially liked Kevin's corian gun. I think it would make a great spot and stalk/ carry rifle. I also found out everything a gunsmith owns is for sale.

Another thing I learned was that 140 gr BTs out of a 270 win are not very good 900 plus yard bullets if there's any wind at all.

BTW Kevin and I are both in the market for new canopys if anyone's running a special.:D

Kevin & JUDD:
Thanks for putting this trip together. It was awesome! Like you said, it was great to put faces and names to some of the posts that are on this board.

With a successful 809yard shot, do I qualify for the all-star match? What about my shot that produced the nasty ooze at 950?

Thanks again.
