Anybody use a Leupold custom dial

Hi,
Does anybody have any experience with a leupold custom dial? You have to provide BC, MV, cal and your zero range. I use a VH reticle and it works great to 600. I shot a 5 shot 5.5 inch group at 580 this weekend and that included a flyer. I/It can do better than that, but I only shot one group. The spray paint can was empty and I had one round left. Almost got a spray can at 580 with one shot, missed by 1.5 inches wide left. Elevation was perfect.

I marked off 600 - 900 yards and the built in reticules of the varmint hunter end at 600. So I think I'm going to get a dial for out to 900. I won't deer hunt that far, not enough energy in a .270 But fun to shoot.

Not bad for a 7 pound breach loader. I do have a harmonic balancer, and I can tell you they work...

Next weekend is the FNAR 308's turn. Found a good load and bullet. I'll start at 400 and see how it goes. gun)

I have one for my leupold MK4. I had it built for 308 win 168g GMM ammo 2650fps at 600ft above sea level 60f it worked dam good. I only shot it to 700yds but it was right on.

I would do it again but not for my self maybe for my wife. I like dialing now it just took a lot time to get it right.

I have a Kenton cap on my Nightforce.

I really like them a lot.

Thanks for the link Len, I had never heard of the Kenton cap. I ordered the Leupold yesterday. But I've got 5 scopes so I think I'll get a Kenton next and decide which one I prefer. gun)

I like dialing my BR rifle. But I've got 5 I shoot and only 2 are the same caliber. I end up taking a note book and trying to remember the right MOA corrections for each gun. Hopefully these dial were work a little better than my bad memory.

I have one on my 308 and it is spooky accurate to 1275 yards.

I have a mark 2 on my 300wsm. Called Leupold, gave them my data and $60. Received my elevation turrent 3 weeks ago and I have shot it several times from 300 to 1000yds. I was astounded. It is dead nuts from 300 to 1000. I want one on all my rifles.
