I got great accuracy (.370") from the 180gn Ballistic Tip and 69.0 gns of H4350 (3094fps). I tried this powder at 70.0gn (.636" & 3117fps) and at 71.0gn (.7675" & 3154fps) also. I ended up loading a few at 69.0 because the accuracy was better.
I know you didn't mention this particular bullet but I think the AccuBond and Ballistic Tip are very close. JohnnyK.

I get my best accuracy with RE25, 81gr for the 180gr AB and 79.5gr with the 190gr SMK. Velocities are 3177fps and 3100fps respectively.
These are not maximum in my rifle, but work up from 78gr's with either.

at which COL?
The COL for my rifle with 165 & 180gn NBT's is 2.9105" (right now). For the 180gn SMK it's 2.8950". These (COL's) will lengthen over time as the throat erodes. Lovingly refered to as "chasing the lands". I start seating most of my bullets at .010" off the LaG's. This seems to work good for me when using Nosler, Sierra and some of the older Hornady bullets, I can only guess it's because of the tangent ogive of these bullets.
The newer Hornady bullets and the Berger VLD's have a secant ogive and seem to require different seating depth(s). Some "jammed" in the LaG's, some touching and some "jumping" as much as .120". Barnes recommends starting their slugs at .050" due to the softer (or is it harder?)nature of them.
I use an older Stoney Point OAL gauge (bought by Hornady) with accesories for my digital caliber to determine a specific OAL for the various bullets that I reload.
Do a google search for "tangent ogive" and you'll find a wealth of knowledge on the subject. There are articles from Dan Lilja and Walt Berger and makes for some good reading. JohnnyK.

What rifle are you shooting? what primer did you use for the above loads? I took my rifle to 77.5gn with RL25 and the 190gn SMK, but stopped there. I don't remember any pressure signs while shooting but had it in my head that 77.5 was max for the 190gn. I used Alliants Reloading Manual to come up with that but may have to re-address the RL25/190SMK issue. JohnnyK.

The rifle is a Rem 40X custom, 28" barrel and 1:10" twist. Primers used are Fed215 in Remington brass, also have loads in Nosler brass which run 2 gr's less. My loads are pressure tested in MY rifle.
The COL is not important because it will be different in another rifle/chamber. My chamber is cut to headspace off the shoulder and will give different pressures and COL to standard chambers.
