We had the opportunity to head back to the ranch in SD for a day to help brand calves and we were able to stay an extra afternoon to do a little
"launch testing" with some A-Max's in the 6x47:D ...........I think they did the job quite nicelygun) There are a few shots we took through fences and just wanted to say Nate built most of these fences and we were prepared to fix any clipped wires......thankfully we didn't need to. :D

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I can't believe the ones that sat there even though their mate had just been shot right next to them. The a-maxs worked pretty well!

Stu.

Ya' it was unbelievable how many dogs were out, there were so many we didn't know which one to aim at first...... It was like having a feast and not knowing what to pick first :D definitely a LOT of fun!

Pretty cool video! That's great to see you getting your kids involved at a young age. Good shooting must be in the blood! :)

Looked like a blast! I enjoyed the video. Could have used a little music. Maybe, "Another one bites the dust".

Nice shooting Eli, as usuall. Jess, not too bad..... fer a girl. Congrats on your first one!

NICE. One of my favorite past times is launching pasture poodles. You had some great air time on a good bunch of those.

Dagley Family,

Thanks for the video that was just the brake I needed today. Once again congrates on a great time with the family.

Great video!!
Any details on the rifles/bullets used?

We mostly used "my" :D 6X47 with Hornady 105 gr. Amax's and 40 grs. of H4350
My brother in law was with for some of the shooting (he's the "holy cows" voice that you hear in the vids.) He was shooting his H&R break action .223 heavy barrel. Nate got him all set up to reload and he was shooting his first reloads so he was pretty pumped.... We all had a blast!

So what kind of camera are you useing to film this? Seems like it does a great job of zooming in on those long shots.

I never get tired of watching that! Thanks for posting the video! Do PD's have some sort of reflex that makes them jump when hit?
