Tipped TSX bullet

Has anyone reload the Tipped TSX Barnes bulled??? I'm looking for a good reload for my 700VTR in 308. looking for about 3000fps on a 150gr.

Good luck getting them to seat deep enough to fit in the mag,I trie 168s and they were way too long.

You'll have to work hard to get the 3000. The Barnes book doesn't go that high.

my brother uses the 130's with his 308. he didn't know the speed, i asked him a while back. he did some terminal bullet testing with them this past season. he used live deer as a test medium. they worked very well.

oH REALLY? Ok know it all take a 308 brass,105% IMR 4350 compressed load and show me how to seat the bullet far enough to drop into the mag of a Remington VTR........................................................................................................................................................

I did the 4350 load was by far the most accurate.Its a non topic since I got rid of it.So hows it done,without changing the load of course,Still waiting..........gun)

Wait all you want, but the above was your original post. there is no mention of any specific load. Many people load 180's and 200 grainers in the 308 to fit the magazine box.
I use H-4350 in my 30-06 but IMHO it is a tad slow for the 308 with 168 grain bullets.

Thats the perfect flag for you,fly it high.When you get around to realizing what a troll you are being let me know how my blanket statement(your words) does not include the load I was working with and how you raising your flag doesnt cover that load,I think you have dug yourself a pretty deep hole and if you continue you might just come out the other side.Ill bow out of this before I tell you how I really feel and get myself in trouble.If you are going to tell me Im full of S%$# you better be able to back it up,you didnt ask for details,you didnt know anything about the situation.I will tell you this,the only thing in this thread that is BS is your attitude.gun)

I've run the 130 ttsx to 3175 fps with Varget powder and the 150 ttsx to 2980 fps with RE15.
Not sure of the VTR's barrel length, but mine is 22".
