I have had GA Precision do three four me $95 return shipping included.
If it is going on a hunting rifle, I'd look at one of Kampfields knobs. They are slightly smaller, but don't protrude as much. Mine is forever getting caught on something while the rifle is slung on my shoulder and the action opens up.

I dont have a lathe but Ill bet I can turn it down with redneck "injinuity" and then run it down with a die.Thanx for the link.
I did this recently. Bought the bolt knob off Ebay for 32 bucks, shipped. Ground the stock bolt handle knob down to .3" on bench grinder. This is just smaller than the treads on the knob and ground a small notch out of the handle just off the very end. Don't have threading dies and didn't want to buy them for this one use. Used a very small amount of acraglass epoxy to attach the knob to the handle permenently. Turned out purdy good for 32 bucks. These knobs beat the crap out of the little factory knob. Much easier to grab on to and makes lifting the handle easier as well.

Just did two of them 15 min each,$3 for a die,instructions show the lines to follow,ect,EASY.

Got a few. They are pretty good on increased leverage and easy on the up-swipe of the bolt and not loosing your eye off the target. Easy with the gloves on to.
Only drawback is the extra side-lump in the soft pack from the Knob. Also it catches more dings on (and gives them) in the safe when you are putting and pulling the rifles in and out.

Havnt you figured out its not nearly as fun with protection?All my rifles take a beating in the hills while hunting,why worry about what could happen to them while sitting in the **** cabinet?My guns are tools not show pieces.gun)
A Colt delta gold cup is a NICE tool.. Not to be scarred up.. A Glock yes..
Battle scars are OK,,, but banging them together in a safe is just irresponsible.. You can safely start stacking the rifles on each other when the safe gets full.. I don't want a Remington 1917 chunking up my Berretta 391 gold trap gun..
The AR-15 is uncovered for "ease of use" hahaChris
