I am starting to think of a new rifle build. After all we are in the middle of the winter doldrums and what else is there to do.

I assume only the long action works with the 180 grain VLD bullets.

308nate is using the Kwik Klip setup for his wsm's. I believe they are centerfeed and have up to 10 round magazines. He has a video of them feeding smooth and reliable. Darn cheap too.

He is building them on long actions.

If you are looking for a magazine based rig, the Glen Seekins has a brand new one specifically for the WSM that allows seating length of something like 3.2" overall length. His magazines are proprietary to his bottom metal.

Check out Surgeon Rifles, they have a WSM action that will allow the cartridge to be up to 3.1" I am also looking at building either a 7 WSM or 7 SAUM pushing the Berger 180's and I'm going with the Surgeon action. gun)

dwm, if I recall it is 3.1 ish. I will check.

JeffVN, if I recall, Glen's may only be for short actions.
