Nightforce 56mm obj Question

I have read a couple times where people had stated they didn't care for the 56mm in the NXS line. Can anyone say why?

We have one of each, 56 on a 300 win and a 50 on the .338 Lapua, both with 40 moa bases and #8 contour barrels. Yes, the 56 took a 1.125" set of rings and the 50 took 1" Other than that we haven't owned the 56 long enough to see the advantages if any. But it does look good..

I am scope shopping at the moment and I personally don't like the 50mm or the 56mm, I am looking for a 40mm or no bigger than a 42mm.

I'm just researching now. I have a gun being built that I wanted to put the
NXS 8-32X56MM NP-R1 on. Height isn't an issue for me. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something optical. Thanks for the replies!
