Guys I took a doe yesterday with a 214 yard head shot. Photobucket is not working for me and I was wondering if I could email the photo to one of you and you could post it for me. Also I shot a badger and would like to put those pics up too.

Thanks,

Chase

Re: Head shot doe - Pics From 115 VLD

thank you very much for putting these up for me!!!
The doe was 214 yards, the ten pt cull buck literally fell in the exact same spot the day before again @214. Took the buck with a high shoulder shot.

Rifle is:

Weatherby MK V Left handed
7WSM
28" Shilen finished with Tubb Break and level
168 Bergers @ 3185fps( I know it seems too fast for 7WSM but its true!!)
McMillan A5
Near MFG 40MOA Base
Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 NP-R2

Again, thanks a ton

I think that RidgeRunners daughter made a better head shot cause you blew up the evidence.

A cull 10 point. How in the H can a 10 point be a cull. That's bigger than anything I've seen in Western PA back in the day. Ceeeeze, gimme a break.....

BTW, pretty nice rig you got there.

Oh yeah, you're supposed to cut the tongue out to make the pic more presentable. LMAO:D:D:D:D:D:D

OMG I already went through that crap last year with another buck I shot!! If you cant handle it, go to talk to your therapist!! HAHA, Im glad you can see the humor in that Roy!

BTW, he is indeed a cull buck. I have a high game deer ranch in central TX and my guidlines for cull buck are: 1) If he does not have brow tines 2) if it is not a 9pt or better by 3.5 yrs old 3) If he does not score 150 or more by 5.5 yrs of age. This old pig was 7.5 years old which should have put him in his prime. Most of our deer score in the mid to upper 170's at 6.5. Our biggest was a 5.5 year old 11 pt that scored 213 typical. He was a freakin monster!!!

As you can see in the pic, this guy scored only in the low 140's. His G4's are pretty sorry in my book but keep in mind he is a high fence buck.

Oh and thanks about the rig, she does me just right

I noticed your location is Huntsville TX.

If I recall correctly I was there one time, though I may be confused.

Back in the Superconducting Super Collider days I took a Catahoula from here to there for a hog/cattle trial.

I just landed a deal that will provide me the opportunity for one of your kind of hunts for elk next year.

The funny thing is the fenced area 2000 acres is just over the ridge from my public land ambush spot. Ya really can't tell the difference. But now I'll have the coin. I love capitalism.......

THanks for pointing out that I need to change my location!! I just moved down to Katy, TX now.

Congrats on the hunt Roy. THat is one thing I have always wanted to do!! I would love to go elk hunting like you would not believe:rolleyes:.

Maybe some day I guess.....
