Find out what powder he is yousing now.I yous Retunbo 338ax 100gr 300gr smk.make sure you get him plenty i got 24 pounds i don't like to run out.

Retumbo works good for me and now I am also going to try US 869.

i've been leaning toward retumbo as thats what i use in my 300 RUM, and figure if it doesn't preform well in his TRG i could get it back cheap!

Reloader 33 is another option. Mr. Allen told me that he was getting around a hundred fps more out of his 338 ax using RL 33 vs his Retumbo loads. It is a fairly new powder from alliant. I have seen more RL 33 on the shelves, Retumbo is hard to find here in NC. just my two cents anyway.
