Need some advice as to the Value
Never owned a Berga Local guy has this for sale for 650.00 with a Redfield 4x12x42 scope has roughly 1k rounds down the barrel of Hornady 147's.
Will let me scope the Throat and barrel anything specific to look for?
Do the aics magazines let you load to the lands?
I will hand load 140 accubonds 143 eldx and 156 Begers
Great Deal, Good Deal, OK Deal

I don't have the 6.5 but do have one in 7RM. It is a heavy rifle, but depending on what you are planning to do with it, it is a solid rifle. $650 seems like a good price, if it is good shape.

Not a bad deal. Those Magpul mags will be close to get long loads with as they don't have the same oal as the metal mags but get some MDT AICS mags without the binder plate and you should be able to get to the lands pretty easy. I load 140 ELDs and they hit the lands in a SAAMI chamber about 2.870" if memory serves and I load them at 2.850".

You should get another 1500-2000 rounds out of the barrel before rebarreling.

I love my Bergara B-14 HMR. Everything I put down the barrel shot well. But when I finally found a load for it I have it shooting 1/4" groups (almost one hole). I use H4350 powder and Hornady 143 gr ELDX bullets and CCI 200 primers.
That being said I've heard some complaints about them not being accurate!! But you have to consider the source whether its them or the rifle. But at $650 with the scope I'd say go for it.

Thank for the feedback. It has to be an older model as the new one's with brown stock is not offered in a 24 inch barrel only a 22 inch barrel am I correct on this? Also the Muzzel brake is a addon and looks like it costs about 80 bucks before shipping and tax?

I'm not sure about the barrel length and model years for the 6.5. They seem to change this up all the time. I paid $950 for my 7RM new a few months ago in similar configuration. Put a Hellfire brake on it and it shoots better than I can. I like it for what it is. Would not pick it for long walks while hunting. It's great to have choices.

Thanks and with the 24 inch barrel 1-8 twist and the 156 Bergers hope to bump 2750 give or take using RL26

If I would rebarrel down the road what are some good options you have experienced with Bergara rifles?

I would say it is a good price. My brother in law has the B-14 Hunter, and paid $575 new a little over a year ago. The hunter model is the very basic model ($699 currently shown online at Sportsman's, I think at the time MSRP on his was $675). It shoots great.
