I recently purchased a 338 lapua and plan to work up to 92 grains of H1000 over 300 matchkings in lapua cases and neck size as much as possible. What kind of brass life should I expect and should I anneal necks or will I have loose primers before the necks get brittle?

Thanks for any advice.

Wade

I shoot 92 grain of H-1000 behind the 300 SMK and I have never loosened a primer pocket. I get 8 to 10 loading before the case splits in front of the head caused by case stretch

H1000 is an excellent powder and Retumbo gets an honourable mention here too.

N165, I found, had too sharp an impulse with 250's.

IMR4350 is giving excellent accuracy from my 26" barrel.
