Gasoline shortage in South East GA

We didn't want to say anything, but since last week things are getting worse with our GASOLINE. Last week I went to a station and several pumps had bags on the handles due to no gas and the other pumps had a$25.00 limit. I thought it was just located to that gas station. My wife then told me of a similar station 30 miles away by where she works. Now today I went by several gas stations and they were completely out. We live in Social Circle about 60 mile east of Atlanta. Monroe north of us, Conyers South west, Athens north east Madison East. It's about a 50 mile radius with no gas or ration. All new HIGHER prices too.

Does anyone else see this gas shortage in their areas. Hope we are not going back the Jimmy Carter days.

We are on the other end of the pipeline. One refinery here had to shut down. Tanks probably all full and no place to pump. I am betting most local refineries are looking at projects and maintenance schedules to see if they can squeeze in downtime now.
They are predicting our gas prices to go down if they do not get the pipeline back up within days.

I hope they get it fixed fast. It's like back in the 70s 80s with gas lines snd limits on how much you can buy, Thats is they have gas. I may mahe to dig up my Preper supply if it gets worse.

YOU CAN THANK BIDEN! Gas prices are bad there too. Mex-ilfornia $4.20 and up per gallon. What's odd is the price of barrel of Oil is about $60.00. That prices when it was $100.00 per barrel. Something smells.
The bottom line is, we got what others voted for.

Getting this info from a friend here in Texas that's in the oil industry. The issue with the pipeline is that it's used to transport refined product and they don't have the facilities to store product at this time. So they've drastically reduced production since there is no place to put the finished product. Add in they don't have enough hazmat drivers to haul said product. They are only expecting a 2-3% increase in prices and things to get back to normal soon. But, all bets are off if this drags on longer.
