I was successful in Wyoming antelope draw

Len, See you there.
The hard part is figuring out which one to shoot ;-)))
Never saw any wolfs in the area sure would be interesting to get one.

I got a big fat goose egg! I had a point and everything. It was supposed to be guaranteed? Not even a doe tag? We must have done something wrong. The websight says if you think this is wrong dont call till after July 30th.....Like they expected that?

yeah, yeah, rub it in....
all i have to look forward to is an elk hunt in colorado, and another on private land in new mexico...

well, it's better than nothing....

oh, and a letter is going to be headed your way tomm.

Congratulations, those are hard to draw for a non-resident. I drew everything I put in for. Best tags I ever had. But I busted up my leg and can't hunt this year. Heck of a deal. By fall I can ride around in my kawasaki mule and shoot at prarie dogs anyway. If that antelope tag is near me somewhere I can be looking for a good one for you. I will be riding all over the place in the dessert since that is all I can do this year. My family all got antelope tags and I can do that.

I drew antelope Zone 6 and my Dad got his second choice of Zone 7. We both got Region B deer tags. This is the first time in 8 years anyone in my party has failed to draw in zone 6.

I drew in 32. I followed Buffalobob's posted suggestions and it worked.
I bowhunted antelope for two days twenty years ago and that is the extent of my antelope experience.
Anybody else hunting in or near 32?

Glad to be of help and happy to be of more help.

There is an online permission slip for Unit 32 called Muddy Mountain. Find it on the Wy Game and Fish website. It gives you access to a lot of really good areas and some not so good areas. You have to download it and print it out and carry it with your hunting license as I remember. The Game Warden wanted to know if I had it but didn't ask to see it. They patrol that area pretty heavily because of the grouse hunters.

I can send you a marked up Google Earth map of where you can find lots of Antelope. Unlike what you might believe they are thick in the right kind of habitat and scarce where the habitat is bad. Being from the East I could not always see much difference between one big area of sage brush and another but they seem to know the difference.

Just so you guys know, all the antelope I have been seeing this spring are looking really good. Tall and heavy. We've had record setting moisture this spring. Only bad thing is all the water holes are full, but alot can change between now and then.

I was just out in the Newcastle area with the family and agree on the antelope looking great. I can't wait until October!:D

congrats to those of you who drew in WY. I didn't even get a doe tag this year, which really surprised me since they usually sale them over the counter in this area. Good luck to you all and let me know if you need help with scouting in this part of the prairie.
