Gotta love the 243AI one of my favorites. What bullet are you planning to push with the 7.75 twist? Sounds about right for the 115s. Good luck with it, looking forward to a range report.

105 to 115 probably.

DTACS new 111 if they EVER get it out for sale...

has polymer tip, .600 BC, and it should make a better hunting bullet than the 115.

Sendero Man what color specs did you go with on the A5? It looks like a desert camo with green and dark grey added? I have been trying to look for a color scheme to use the desert camo but bump up the contrast a little.

Looks like a great long range coyote smoker.

This is the way George ordered it... I just got real Lucky when he drew his sheep tag !!

Specs sheet.

A-5(rem) Molded-in color, Precision Camo(see below)
RH, S700, B-M5 f/p, .260, badger lug, #7 rock b/c
inl blank
SPA SYS, 1 studs, 2 flush mount cup

Note: install 2 f/m cups on left side (front & rear)-Precision Camo = med tan
base w/dk tan, lt tan, olive splotches & a small percentage of forest green splotches

We hope to draw some tags in Unit 71 (I think that is where I applied). We put in for the two reduced price doe tags as well as buck tags.

Perhaps, you can come out for a while and sit with us and wait for the wind to die down. Thats mostly what I do.:D

Just a note on the flush cups, don't trust them. The ones I installed myself seem to be holding up pretty well but MacM made some kind of mistake on the ones they installed on my A5 and one of them lets loose at strange times.

SenderoMan, you are going to love the 243AI. It's a great long range varmint rig with the 105grn and 107grn Bullets. The A-5 stock is a great stock, hard to get, but worth the wait and money.
