South Africa, end of April 2008. All bullets shot clean through but the Blesbok at 400 yards, shot in the hind quarter and traveled all the way up to the chest cavity stopping just under the hide with a perfect mushroom just like the pictures always show. About three feet of penetration, not bad at 400 yards. Even the 1500lb Eland, which only ran 20 yards and fell over within 30 seconds. The PH couldn't believe it. He really liked my gun and used it to shoot several warthogs and three Blue Wildebeest, which all bullets exited on too.
Not super far shots, but just wanted to share.

Very nice!!!

Is that a T3 Lite? After market barrel or Standard? What type of muzzle break you got on it?

Awesome!!
I will get over there one of these days.

One of these days? Your not getting any younger and it's not expensive, people spend way more on one Elk hunt than they would going to Africa and getting 5 different animals.
I'm only 29, it's all about priorities, I could have bought a new four wheeler but I went to Africa instead and spent way less on the trip than I would've on the wheeler. Heck, get a signature loan from the bank and pay it back over time, people will go into debt $40,000 on a new truck but can't afford to go to Africa. Put that $600-$800 truck payment towards Africa instead and you will be going in 6 months.
I highly recomend going if you couldn't tell already, there is no other hunting like it in the world.

It is the T3 lite standard barrel and a Brockman's Brake that you can turn on and off by twisting it. I like it a lot.

Do you know how much they are mate? Do you need to thread the barrel?

Got any close ups of it?

Sorry for all the questions, im just on the market for one!

Just click on this, Brockman's Custom Gunsmithing
It is called the B.E.S.T. brake. Of course you need to thread the barrel, you do for any real muzzle brake. My gunsmith did it for $25. He also tapered the bottom so it had a smoother line from the brake to the barrel. I like mine a lot and I like the idea of not having to have it open when hunting when I have no ear protection. Others you have to remove the whole brake and buy a threaded protector cap which is usually another $40 or more.
