I thought you would like this picture. This critter tempted me a bit too much so I had to make a mess out of him. This was one of my better kills this year considering the wind and it wouldn't let me take a sighter shot!

So, the high shoulder shot was proven effective again. It still amazes me how many people remain skeptical. I believe you've also proven the 6mm is a big game caliber with authority.

Looks a lot like the goat too! Nice shootin' GG.

Great shooting

I had a fly playing around on my target at Mickey Coleman's match last month. I made the mistake of telling two competitors that it was there. I think if it were not for a crow walking around below the targets that Don Geraci and Col. Billy Stevens first shots would have both been on my target. As soon as Brady Knight announced place bolts in rifles both took flight and escaped injury even though I waited the full 7 minutes for him to reappear. Nothing like hunting at a match:) You can bet that had that fly reappeared on my target he would have been fired upon group be darned. I got a couple of flys with rimfire at 50 yds but have never had the opportunity for a 200 yard fly. I think I am going to have to bait them in.

GG,

That's pretty awesome! As I mentioned before, most people won't believe me when I tell them. LOL. Of course, I'm a believer!!!! ;)

Thanks Eaglet and others.
Once these doubters go to a benchrest match, they immediately see the capabilities of modern equipment and shooters that know how to use it. Then it hits home what can be done.
The only reason why I knew I could hit this fly in high wind is because I just got through shooting a group and had a rough idea of what my holdoff would have to be. Plus, the sighters I had taken where a dead giveaway for my hold. All I had to do was guesstimate the holdoff off of the ten ring at 10 o'clock and hope the fly held still!

Here's the group I finished just moments before the fly landed to take a closer look: 5 shots
