I need to ship a box of bullets out of the country, to Australia. Can any one tell me if there are any regulations light bulb I need to be aware of, either at our end or theirs.
Don't want to run afoul of the law during this transaction.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

ship

I shipped a rcbs chargemaster scale to a member on here. post office has everything you need. Mark on form it's a gift so the other party doesn't have to pay taxes.

I shipped a several hundred bullets to down there a couple of weeks ago. No regulations what ever, I guess. I showed the postmaster what I was sending and he sent 'em.

They did ask if loaded cartridges were in the boxes.

Postage is a kick in the butt though. Verify postage before you quote a price. Mine went a bit over what I quoted but not enough to worry about.

BTW, much easier and faster to ship there than to Canada:confused: At least for me.

Thanks guys.
Found out I can use flat rate boxes to ship up to 20# ea. So it will take two to send 500 300 gr SMKs. With ins. I beleive it comes to around $86.00, will let you know.
Thanks again
phil
