This doesn't seem to be the most popular caliber on this site but I'm sure some of you have experience with it. I shoot the 270 WSM and am looking for high BC bullet that holds together well after impact and of course, super accurate.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I am just starting to reload for the 270wsm. I just recieved a box of Berger's new 150gr. VLD bullets for 0.277cal. They came it has a BC of 0.545. Going to give them and Nolser Accubonds a try.

oh? You meant bullet not cartridge.

For the WSM I'd consider something in the 150 gr class. Nosler Ballistic tips and Accubonds should be optimum. You ought to get at least 3000 FPS out of them, though I'm not sure. I do know that at 3500 they are awesome on accuracy and terminal performance.

I'm eagerly awaiting Berger's offerings in 277.

I haven't tried any of the Wildcats in weights under 169.5 gr so I can't say much about them.

i thought i saw a tipped triple shock in 140 grain. i have a friend that's giving me his 270 Weatherby to accurize for him.that's the bullet i'm gonna try. hope i do a good job. he'll get it back for antelope and deer right before he takes me Elk hunting if i draw.

barnes don't seem to have that good of a BC compared to others, and I can't get much better than 1MOA with them
