Industry scoop! This rifle, called the Warlord, will be introduced to the world today.

Len,

You can scoop the internet gunnie world with those two images of the Warlord. Just mention I was in Montana with a prototype and we shot over 360 rounds in a blizzard and minus fifteen degrees. Much of the shooting was at 1000 yards and we beat up that steel deer!

Leaving for SHOT in the am.

Well, I am not too interested in the rifle but the claw feet on the bipod are interesting although I try to avoid lying around in the white stuff.

The bullet hole in the tail of the deer reminds me of my antelope shooting.

Ian is that tactical Icon chambered in the 30TC or 308win? Give us the scoop,
details, available chamberings.

I'll edit my dumb question, it must be a 308 with that box of Black Hills laying there.

+1! Where do you get feet like that? Are they helpful? How? Thanks, Ian. Jon

Looks very cool , Icon action Manners stock with Terry Cross adjustable comb hardwear. But what realy has my attention is the bottom metal , whos is that?

very slick looking rig

It looks like a Badger system, the mags look like AI's that I use on my PGWDTI Coyote in .308.

I can not wait to see the results and hear the outcome!! Hopefully you will have pricing as well.

Thanks Ian

Just back from the SHOT show.

In fact the Warlord did hold itself pretty well as far as drawing attention goes. We set it up at the GA-Badger Ordnance booth, which happened to have Tom Manners right next door.

TC needed some info on what the rifle would do for SHOT so since I am fortunate to have some assignments on the Warlord I got to do the initial shooting. Truth is I had some great help from several guys, we shot in a blizzard the first day and very clear, cold conditions the second. Then the rifle went to the SHOT show and I returned home so I could jump a plane and head to Vegas also.

This is one of the smoothest rifles I have shot, plus the combination of a Bartlein barrel, Warlord stock, custom made bottom metal c/w AI mags and the Manners T2 stock - very near perfection. A few improvements noted, they will be fixed. Bottom line the rifle was so comfortable and shot so well you would have expected it to be a custom shop rifle. This rig was patched together so they had a Warlord for SHOT. Shows that if you turn guys like George Gardner, Tom Manners and Mark Laney from TC, on a rifle building project the end result is amazing.

No hard details about availability yet - expect something mid-summer but that is only my guess. Still a few decisions to be be made about the parts and pieces, but this first prototype is shooting so good they know they pretty much got it right.

Will keep you guys informed
