whats the best scope for under 300.00

i have a friend that wants to set up a 270 to try some shooting out to 500-600. what would be the best scope with good tracking for under 300.00??????????

I'd have to say the Nikon Buckmasters with side focus and target turrets would probably fit the bill.

We sell both the buckmaster and the elite, both of them dang good scopes and a steal on the prices!! i sell alot more of the Nikon so i have more experince with them. With either scope you will not make a bad choice but i would point ya towards the nikon, great glass for the money

Exactly what I put on my Rem700P .308 and love it.

Took a moose in the last minutes of sunlight and didn't have any problem seeing it.
