Late Season Doves

I like to hunt late season doves. Most people think the doves have gone but they are still around in lesser numbers. Usually, I just walk the fields and shoot them when they fly up. Often I get nothing but exercise and I have never gotten a limit in late season. Sometimes I will get a couple of crows and maybe a squirrel. It is just good to get out of the house.

I've got a few cut cornfields you should walk.

I'm squarely in the middle of deer season, but our late season will startup again in December and will run through January 12.

I'm trying to restock an antiquated double muzzleloader in anticipation of the season.
