i no i can search the web, but i don't always have alot of time. Can 2 people get an ffl together?

Yes. Or more than two. List all the principles in the forms for the company.

Actually, the answer is no, because the company "IS" the one person, so the FFL is made out to the company, and the two (or more) persons are employees (agents) of the company.

A technicality for sure, but with the Bat boys, these technicalities get you free room and board.

Let's set this straight.

I've held an 01 FFL license since 1990. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish but if your question is "Can 2 people get an FFL together?" The answer is YES they can.

The two (or more) license holders would be the principles or partners to the business. All FFLs are for business purposes. C&R Licenses are for collectors. There can be as many principles as you like for a license. There can be multiple licenses with multiple people on them. There can be multiple licenses for a single location. There CANNOT be a single license that covers multiple places. FFL licenses are for firearm transactions at one location only. A gun show would be the only exception to a licensed premises that is stated on the FFL license.

Agents and Employees are not listed on a license. My employees can fill out forms, sign forms and do NICs checks as my agents. I am responsible for all their errors and actions because I am the licensee.

I hope that clears it up, but I'm sure Cat will not let me have the last word. How do I know that? Only time will tell...haha
