Soft Cases

Is there a way to temper a soft case to a harder case in its head section .
To cut down on how quick a primer pocket loos'ens up in a 30-378 weatherby .And yes i know what most would said what to do is cut back on the pressure . But even once fired factory loads seem to be just a wee bit loose .So i am thinking the bass is on the soft side . Is there any one that makes a stronger case for the 30-378 weatherby

The only brass I have seen is Weatherby made by norma. Quite pricey at that. Are you blowing out the primers? I am reloading 30-378 brass 3-4 times without a problem. We are loading a 180 gr Ballistic tip over 110 grains of H1000 without pressure problems. What are you loading?

In a word - No.
Brass does not temper like ferrous metals. When you heat it up it becomes softer not harder.

Thanks S.Ferg for your reply to my post . There was no problem with the gun or the 7 loads i tried with a hornady 190 spbt . Even though i was loading to the max to see what i could get out of it . I was able to get 5 -6 loadings out of the cases which is not to bad .One of the loads i tried was with H 1000 that was good but not as fast as two of the other loads . I was just checking if there was another brand or case i might try to use to get a few more loadings out of them .
