270 Bee for varmints?

Anybody ever use one? I have 1 setting in the safe that I'm going to work up a 110 gr load for and try it on varmints. thinking about the Hornady 110 gr HP in front of a large dose of re25 or IMR 7828, or can anyone think of a better powder selection?

I only started handloading in 1964 so haven't seen or heard of everything but a 270 BEE must have passed me by. I can tell you for a fact a Sierra 90 Gr H.P. (1800) packed in front of about 57 (and some) grains of IMR4831 is will put on a show at at least 450 yards. I've owned three Remington 700's and they all liked it. We're leaving for Wyoming the last of this month and I'm taking one with about 400 rounds. gun)

I was gonna say, never heard of a 270 Bee, I figured you meant 218 Bee. However 270 weatherby will do just fine. Id use a 90-120 grain bullet for varmints. However you could use 150 grain Fmj which doesn't expand, but you hit a varmint it will kill it without blowing it up. I use a 223 for varmints, does more then enough then needed with 55 grain vmax. I'd lean towards Fmj for the 270 Weatherby
