Amen to a good spotter! Unfortunately my spooter is 12 years old and he says dad if I can't see it on the plate it's a miss! I get no slack. .600 BC bullets, those are some sleek flyers. I know what you mean about early morning shooting, same here in Tx., by 9 the wind is picking up and afternoon who knows what it is going to be doing.

    My first "long range" rig is at the smith and I'm gathering data for the forst load work up.

    300WSM for 1000+ yds. is the load Im looking for

    Anyone have data for me to digest?

    AI's are awesome, but hauling one around while hunting gets old... when you start getting old.

    morning, 66.5grs. 4831sc, 145gr. LRX Barnes, 215 primer, Winchester brass.

    28.5 shaw barrel, vais muzzle brake 721 rem action. trued action. #4 contour

    barrel shoots a .300 at 100yrs.
