Oregon spring bear

Took this fella at 596 yards with a 338 edge and a 225 AB double lung. Squared 6'5", and skull measured 19 5/8".





That is my 280 AI in the pic, it weighs a lot less and we were in some really steep country so I took after the first shot with the edge.

Thanks guys. I found him in the west blues unit. We had a bit of work to get him for sure. Dragging him back across the creek was interesting.

Guy, Yeah the 600 yard dope was nice. I had been practicing that range for months. I need to keep working on my range so I can work out farther a bit.
