I'm hoping to do it without a guide and pay a trespass fee if I have too. I plan on doing a few scouting trips to the area before season starts. Also have been in touch with the BIologist for the area. Trying to do as much homework as I can. I'm hoping to put my new 6.5/284 to the test.

The 140 VLD. I have been getting good results with it. I have a Huskemaw on my custom Savage action built rifle and have been able to reach 700 yards.

Had a buddy that drew a unit 7 tag with 2 points in 2012. He drew a unit 19-1 this year. lucky man

I never hunted wyoming yet bu i will have 4 elk and deer points after this year. Looking at getting serious next year what units to look at with 4 points? Ive been hunting Co. and some units take 15 and more is Wyoming like this too?
