Christmas came early this year

Got a call today from Nevada Dept. of Wildlife. Seems there was an elk tag left over for the area I applied for. They asked me if I would be interested in using this tag....I quickly replied,Heck Yes! So it looks like I'm going on an elk hunt this year after all. I'll be in area 111-114/221-222. I'll be up there the second week of November. Been walking on cloud nine all day. It only took me 19 years to finally draw.....definitely worth the wait.

Good job Chas,

I'll be there around the 15th. maybe hook-up and tie down a couple good bulls before the opener.

Looks like your tag is for the late hunt. The tag I'm getting is for the early hunt (11/4/11-11/18/11). That area is soooo big! I'm giddy like a kid in the candy store...
Good luck on your hunt.
