When shooting prone some areas won't work but most will. Take along an alternate rest in your truck just in case.

Re: wyoming grass height

Over many years of hunting goats in WY, I have learned to have a couple of different length bipods along. And I have seen many hunters using their back-packs as a LR rest. Some hunting areas contain a grass that can grow to 12-16" tall, which provides good cover for the hunter, but may be difficult to shoot over. Be prepared ,

Re: wyoming grass height

I use the medium hiegth bipod as I found that the 11" model was too low in the sagebrush most of the time. I keep both models with me but the 11-24" model is on the gun and the other in my pack. Tom
