Re: WY units

It's a shame this thread went downhill,I was also hoping to pick up some local input before deciding on a draw unit for this March.Like midwesthunter I'm 1000 miles away so scouting is out of the question and nothing beats local knowledge from those who are kind enough to pass it on.midwesthunter if you see this drop me a PM,I'll be happy to share what limited info I have! Cheers,Monashee

Re: WY units

Send me a PM if you need any help and we'll eliminate any more problems on this thread. I might not live in Wyoming, but I've hunted out there for damn near 20 years and think I know my way around more than enough to help you make an informed decision!

Re: WY units

Of the three 74 would be easier to hunt and get a better buck.
48 would be a zoo to hunt without paying someone and 73 has a lot of ground even an antelope wount use, not a bad choice if you know the area though!

Re: WY units

I hunted 48 last year. I saw one hunter drive by in a truck, other than that, nothing but me, the wife, and Antelope. I hunted the end of the season. I wouldn't hunt the opener regardless of unit.
