Lucky Photographer - Un-Lucky Hunter

Below, are some of my Wyoming photos:

-Funny how you can find'em during rifle season,
but this WAS in Wyoming's only ARCHERY ONLY hunting area for Antelope! (2002)
-Now it is open for rifle.
Cloud Peak (Elevation 13,167 ft.)
-West side of the Bighorn Mountains, Wyoming.

-Yup! Thar's big horns... around the Bighorns...

'Makes ya wanna buy a bow! -They ARE within range! -Sometimes, ya can't even get within 300 yards!
Above photos were taken in September 2002 with the old 2.MP OLYMPUS C-700 UZ (Olympus C-700UZ Review: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review)

Below is a digitally scanned photo from film (1994).

And I found Wile E. Coyote on the prowl...for geese...
Wile E. thinks they are duck-billed...web-footed Roadrunners.

Nice pics, a couple of those are pretty tall.

I didn't realize 114 used to be archery only.

Ya - the biggest I've seen alive!

They just walked right by me and my pick-up - 20-yards away....

I was laid up with a screwed-up leg...

That area is awesome and has some great goats even as of last year. I hunted just south of Ten Sleep last year and we saw a number of super goats. I'm gathering points to go back out there in a couple of years.
