How much does it weigh?

After deboning an antelope how much does the meat weigh? How much for the head and cape? I am wondering how much my back pack with rifle & other gear plus the game will weigh.

Same questions about a mule deer?

Wyoming Fish and Game said about 30-35 pounds of meat. I'd say about 15-18 for the head and cape. That's my 2cents

How about mule deer?

Yes it was for antelope.......not sure about mule deer, a whitetail head and cape runs around 25-28.

Highknob, so worse case meat, head and cape 50-55 pounds, just curious what does an antelope weigh untouched...is it like a 100 pounds?

By untouched I take it that you mean completely 100% intact? A couple of us tried that once. We got it caught but couldn't get the darn thing to quit wiggling on the bathroom scale!!!! So any weight I'd give would be a rough estimate!

Now Roy, if you were trying to get it to stop wiggling on the bathroom scale then that would be touched. I'm talking untouched...now that we've had some fun...anybody know the weight fully intact???
