Roy, how right you are! But ya gots to shoot em where ya finds em. It was really late and had it been a whole lot farther, I'm not sure I would have taken the shot. It was a lot of fun and the company was the best! Thanks for your comments.

As you know, that was the highlight of trip for me as well. While the range was not overly long, that says nothing for the difficulty of the shot. On my difficulty scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the most difficult, I would say your shot was a solid 8.

The rest was a bit unsteady because of the lay of the land, very low light, bedded buck, it was not an easy shot by any means and you did very well.

He was by far the best buck we saw on the trip and I am very glad he showed up again that evening and you were able to punch your tag on him!!!
