Opening Day in the Texas Big Country.
Got this guy Saturday evening. Range was close, maybe 120 yards. Hit him with a 130gr VLD launched from my .260 @2884fps. He folded at the shot, didn't even twitch.



Here's the rig. Some minor changes from the pic: now running a Stiller 20MOA rail with Burris XTR rings, and a Zeiss 3-9 Conquest with their #4 reticle and target turrets.

I dont know what looks better the rifle or the deer. I love them both great shot man
