My Eastern Colorado mule deer

Shot this one last week on a guided hunt in Eastern Colorado. The body on this deer was massive - weighed close to 350# and had a 28" neck!!

It was a great hunt!!

Re: My Eastern Colorado mule deer

J&D Outfitters = Doyle Worbington

I have hunted with Doyle several times and have been 100% on elk and deer = he runs an awesome operation!!

Shot was only 110 yards - we found him on the first evening laying by himself.

Here's the specs of my rifle:

Rifle = 7MM Mag built by Mark Gordon of Short Action Customs

*Surgeon 1086 action
*Bartlein 5R stainless barrel = 1-9 twist, #3 contour, 24" long, Vais brake contoured to match barrel
*McMillan Rem Hunter stock, SAC custom pillar bedding/finish, M40A1 paint by "Short Bus"
*Badger M4 bottom metal, Rem mag box, spring, follower
*Jewell trigger at 2#
*All metal cerakoted in Graphite Black
*Seekins 30mm rings
*NightForce NXS 3.5-15x50

Shoots like this with premium factory hunting ammo (last group I shot before I headed to Colorado):
