long range in ga?

I am one of the lucky ones in north ga to have a piece of property with a large field on it. I can shoot 642 yards from end to end. Been waiting 2 years for a 500 plus yard shot on a deer. I have killed them from 15 yards to 321 yards on this field but thats it.

And then sunday it happened! group of 6 does stepped out of the woods at 531 yards and I smoked the largest one.

I know its not that long of a distance but this is as long as it gets around here.
