I hear ya on that!

I spent a month on the hill with in '07 with buffalobob. Pretty much the same experience. The only time I spotted animals before him was the day he was off somewhere else. All in all it was a humbling learning experience.

Re: JMason's PA Buck

nice job jmason.
since you were hunting with kevin i would assume you were in my neiborhood. you are indeed fortunate to have an experienced person such as he as your mentor.
the group he's associated with have been very succesful here for decades.
just curious, but has he hinted as to your need for a chainsaw.

Re: JMason's PA Buck

Trebark was also tellin me about watching to shoot one at 351+ to eclipse you jmason, I specifically remember "I don't care if it's a 35lb fawn, if it's 351s or more I'm shooting it!" well 475 is a respectable kill, and a nice buck to boot! Trebark and I may just have to break that next weekend, sorry

and what's your rifle doing till next year?? Last I checked VA deer season is still open :P

If that's an invite I may take you up on it next season. I'm out of days to take off from work this year.
