Re: AZ deer. Anybody else draw?
After being drawn for Unit 12A - North Kaibab and taking a very respectable mule deer no more than 10 minutes past sunrise on opening day in 1990, my friends and I had been putting-in (unsuccessfuly) for Unit 12A as our first choice for the Arizona mule deer lottery every year. This year, 19 years later, we finally got drawn to this area again. I will hold out for a real trophy the first 4 days of the hunt. After that, it will become a meat hunt - anything with antlers goes.
