Arizona Buck Down

Just wanted to share a buck that my friends brother took this season. He was waiting for a 200" deer due to the good unit he drew, but settled on this bad boy due to the hunt almost being over. Not sure exactly what he measured yet, but it's a toad for sure. Took two shots from his 7mm Rem Mag. One from 470 yards, and one from 500 yards. Both shots where taken from his friends shoulder (used him as a rest) while standing up. The brush was too thick and tall to get a kneeling or prone shot. I don't know much more about the hunt than that, but I figured I would share.

Savage 111 7mm Rem Mag
Vortex Viper HS-T 4-16x44 VMR-1 MRAD
BlackHawk 0 Moa Picatinny Rail & 30mm Rings
Rifle Basix Sav-2 Trigger
168gr Berger VLD Hunting, Win Brass, WLRM Primers, H1000 69 grains, .010" off the lands
Boyd's Pro Varmint w/ Pillars and Bed job

Howa 1500 .243
Vortex Viper HSLR 4-16x44 VMR-1 MOA
Warne Fixed 30mm Rings
95gr Berger Classic Hunter .010" off lands
Norma Brass, WLR Primer, 42gr H4350
Hogue Full Bed Block Stock, and ATI 5 Round Detachable Mag
