Michael, I doubt this will help, but I was afforded the opportunity to test the 140 gr 7mm VLD a few years ago. As usual it was wonderfully accurate. I only had the opportunity to test it on game once. I shot a nice mulie at a touch over 300 yds with a high shoulder shot. The impact actually knocked him uphill and he was DRT. It took out the on shoulder and spine. Lots of internal damage, no exit. Hope that helps.
I think you will find your 140 will do wonders on large mulies.
