Thanks for the comments everyone. The deer weighed in at 161 LB's at the butcher - dressed with no tenderloins - so it was a pretty big bodied blacktail.

My buddy shot a cow elk with his bow earlier this year that only dressed 154 at the butcher. That buck of yours is just an all round horse of a deer.
