Shooting courses in Australia

Hi Everybody,

Does anyone Know of any long range/marksmanship courses in Australia? Preferably NSW or ACT but any would be a start.

Re: Shooting courses in Australia

Hello!

Stuart Elliot (of BRT) and his wife are mostly in Brisbane these days but if money is no object they could come to you and tailor a course. These guys are brilliant. However if you want to get squared away in long range shooting or markmanship join the 1000yd range in Canberra in F-Class or Full Bore. A club will teach you wind reading, ballistics, markmanship.

Check out Canberra Rifle Club and
Bench Rest Training - for Stuart and Annie

Re: Shooting courses in Australia

I did a BRT course.
It was way more comprehensive than I expected.
I wish I had done something like that a long time ago.
I noticed that the guys from BRT are part of the team that have just won the world benchrest championship in South Africa.
That is like the shooters equivalent of the Americas Cup, in 2009.
The BRT guys can walk the walk as well as talk the talk.
