I know you can hunt on Eglin, I wonder if you can shoot there in the off season?

Brian, depending on where you'll be living in the panhandle there's a 200, 600 & 1000 yard range 1 hr west of Mobile. If your interested in longrange here's the link for the range. Pascagoula Shooting Club Charlie

Good to know there are other in the area interested in longrange. What type of gun, caliber, etc do you shoot? Charlie
Charlie, I live off Robert's Road & drive down 210 everyday, small world. I'm getting ready for a Coues Deer hunt the end of November & need to get to the range & tighten up to 600. I usuallly shoot at Bradford (out by Starke) if you want to ride out one day soon just let me know.

I'll be in Pensacola, so I'd be about as close as you can be still in Florida. Thanks for the link!

From Pensacola it's probably close to 100 miles if memory serves me right. I live just south of Jacksonville Florida and have made the trip straight down
I-10 thru Pensacola, Mobile & Pascagoula on my way to Baton Rogue to see wife's family so I'm familar with that stretch of highway and you can make excellent time. Good luck in Pensacola. Charlie
