I smacked the hell out of them then had to drive over and try and find them,lol. You could see where they'd hit but then you'd lose them in the clumps of grass. I remembered I wanted to get some orange golf balls when we were leaving Missoula. So I hit a few around 330, one about 350 and settled on on at 298. With the way the ridges were and cattle in the area I didn't feel good about shooting the longer ones. The last thing I wanted to do was buy a cow and not get invited back.
Now I will attempt to shoot it with my 270WSM.
I shot 5 times, two were just over an inch or two, one my old man couldn't see, one scooted it, just under, and on #5 I hit it. I didn't get it by much, but I got it.
