Nevada Big Game Application

I got a post card from Nevada F&G asking me to send them some money this year. I sent them some money last year and they kept part of it and kinda of like the under the coke cap thing says "Sorry play again". Perhaps I will play again. The big game application period is March 24 to April 21. Unlike some of the other states you do not have to buy a license if you don't draw out.

Right... but, if you don' t buy the license.. you loose your bonus points.

Nevada... by the way, is my favorite state to hunt in.

I've never hunted it but have been buying the license for a couple years so I can get the points. I hope to be hunting just north of you one of these days.

The application fee and the internet convenience fee are non-refundable.

If you do not draw a tag you can request a refund of your license, but you also refund your bonus point.

Thank you all non-residents for sending your big $$ our way every application season.

With my points, I should be drawing a deer, cow elk, and antelope. Hoping they pick my numbers.

Geargrinder. You're welcome for the $$. I only hope they put it to good use. Unfortunately, Nevada is one of the few states that make us purchase the license to get the points. We always apply for NV, WY, MT, CO, UT and NM. Sometimes we draw multiple states and other years nothing at all, so we end up with just an over the counter tag. Usually not as good quality of a hunt, but some areas still have done real well. Preference points are the only way to go though for non resident tags. Quality is usually much better. Good luck on your upcoming season!
