Edge,

It is Obvious that the difference is perspective. We are talking about as many as (maybe) 90,000 applications that made it on time (many from "other" profesional tag services) vs. less than 600 that did not. In College being late for an exam meant an "F" or turning in a paper late meant an "F"..... that falls under "life lessons"...... and life ain't fair! The thought of "Bending the Rules" is a Very Liberal Concept and IMO what's REALLY wrong with this counrty in the first place, right now. RULES IS RULES!!!! As a Born & Raised Arizonian I can honestly say that this is one of the first times in the last couple of years that our Commision actually stood for Right instead of the almighty $$$$$, which they normally do. And I was impressed with their rulling.... Way to go AZGF!

If you can't divorce the Hunters, whose only mistake was in seeking the advice of a professional, from the professional, then you are certainly not very forgiving people, IMO.

I do hope that you are honest enough in your life that you never ask a cop to cut you a break...cuz Rules are Rules and I am sure you would not want them bent for you....yea right!!

It is not a matter of want.... I Want to have a million dollars in the bank, I did not want to forget to sign my elk applications, I did not want to put the wrong hunting Lic. # on my hunt apps this year, I did not want to forget the Utah app deadline this year......... and on and on. I have heard lots of want statments in my life, but Want does not get it done. I have been fortunate to have never had a hunt app rejected (knock on wood!), I double and triple check each line, then have my wife check them..... then I hand deliver my AZ apps to a branch office... it is THAT important to me. If I lived out of state I would make extra sure they were early. Cuz RULES are Rules!

You're right, and some morons ( Commission folks ) can't see that that is EXACTLY what these 500+ hunters did!
They were so concerned that they paid professionals to get it right!

You see things in black and white, that's OK with me. I still stand by my last post and bet that the last time you got stopped by a cop you asked not to get a ticket.

Putting faith or blame on someone else... is passing the buck. Those 500+ "hunters" are NOT victims! They allowed someone else to be responsable for their stuff. A pat on the head, with an "Awe thats okay... we understand that the Dog ate your homework" is not what they deserve... They were sent a message.... YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS AND THOSE ACTING FOR YOU! A message that obviously needs to be taught to ALL the whiners (& Liberals) in this country. Apparently, Edge, where you come from close is good enough.... for me, it is not.... and if you don't like my state...... that is fine... STAY HOME! We are tired of sharing our tags with the Non- Residents anyhow!!! :p
