Video of Riflescope Flexing???

Is this suppose to be like this or is there something wrong with this setup?

I don't know, it looks like the base is not secured at the back end. I wouldn't think a scope would flex to the point of being visable.

Not only that but....

The rifle get's floppy too. See animation here:

Keep in mind that this movement is amplified 1000x. Because of this exaggeration, his scope is shown hitting the barrel... but looking at the video of the riflescope flexing, this guy's animation seems to be very accurate.

Oh it's right. That video shows the massive amount of stress that is impacted on the scope and mounting system when a 50 BMG is fired
